We do not share your personal information with anyone. We do not ask for access to your personal information unless Vidometer needs it for core functionality. Vidometer will request access to your information using iOS’s built in permissions management mechanism.
Vidometer will request access to your current location. Vidometer uses the GPS chip to get your speed, location, and altitude. This data is stored on your iPhone with recorded video. This data is not shared with anyone.
Vidometer needs access to the microphone in order to record sound with recorded videos. The microphone is only used during video recording. This data is not shared with anyone.
Vidometer needs access to the front and back camera for video preview and video recording. The cameras are only used during video recording. This data is not shared with anyone.
Vidometer needs access to your Photos in order to save recorded videos and photos. This permission will be requested the first time you save a video or photo. This data is not shared with anyone.
If you turn on the heart rate visualization feature, Vidometer will request access to your Heart rate data from the Health app. Vidometer will request read only access. Your health data will not be stored in the app in order to maintain your privacy. Vidometer will display the heart rate data during video playback and export. This data is not shared with anyone.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
We may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
